The Access to HE Diploma (Social Sciences) provides students with a broad introduction to humanities disciplines. This course prepares student for Higher Education and careers in areas such as Criminology, Psychology, Sociology and Social Work.  Students will acquire essential knowledge, specific skills, and transferable skills necessary for success in these areas.

To ensure this Diploma meets our AVA policies and priorities for new provision, Skills and Education Group Access has worked with curriculum specialists and business development managers to coordinate and oversee the development of the Diploma, including meeting to agree curriculum content, level, grading descriptors and general rules of combination.
