40014708The Land-based Science Diploma will help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to achieve on their chosen HE course or career pathway; familiarise them with the teaching and learning methodologies and assessment strategies found in Higher Education Institutions; and help them to gain confidence in their abilities, to review and monitor their own progress and to become independent students.
To ensure this Diploma meets our AVA policies and priorities for new provision, Skills and Education Group Access has worked with curriculum specialists and business development managers to coordinate and oversee the development of the Diploma, including meeting to agree curriculum content, level, grading descriptors and general rules of combination.

Students studying this Diploma will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and practical skills through a range of subject areas, including:

Biology: Introduction to Plant Biology

You can choose to start delivery at traditional points in the year such as September or January, which may be suited to face-to face delivery, but with more interest in online delivery, it is possible to deliver all year round, with stepping on points to suit you and your students’.
